Remembrance-Chapter 2

Rallys

 Obsessions: Compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or an unwanted feeling or emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety. A compulsive, often unreasonable idea or emotion.  Yep, that’s the perfect definition of Rallys. I was completely obsessed with Rallys. But now, I wish the place had never been built. But then again, if it hadn’t, everything would’ve changed, I probably wouldn’t be telling this story. And that sunset would’ve have been the ending.

 ”Niiiick!” I whined. “Please! I’m hungry can’t we stop to eat?!” I sat in the passenger seat of the car as we drove. He looked at me, “Dude, there will be food at my Grandma’s!” He peeled his eyes from the road for a second to look at me then back. “I don’t want you to miss out on her wonderful food!” I groaned, “Nick, I promise I’ll still be hungry enough to eat. All I need is some fries to hold me over!” He looked at me again. “Fine I’ll drive through McDonalds or something…” I whined again, “Nooooo!!! I hate McDonalds!” He sighed, “Where do you want to go?” I knew he hated it when I acted like this. I acted like a spoiled brat who got her way every time she whined about it. But I was hungry. I said in a whiny voice, “Rallys! You know how much I LOVE their fries!” He groaned, “Fine…” He pulled into the parking lot when a Rallys came into view. I smiled in satsifaction, victory was once again mine. I now wish that I wasn’t such a priss, since that had alot to do with what happened that night. Nick pulled into the drive-thru, ordered me my fries, then turned to the exit. While we waited for cars to pass he handed me the fries. “There, happy now?” I smiled and nodded. I turned to smile at him as I took a bite. He held out his hand, “You owe me!” I laughed and handed him a couple. Nick smiled and ate one as he turned onto the road. I looked out his window as another car came out of nowhere. “NICK!” I screamed as loud as possible. Nick jumped and turned towards, “What the he…” He was cut off as the two cars impacted, suddenly everything went black.

Remembrance-Chapter One

The Beginning

 Have you ever wondered what life would be like if the person you were head over heels for…didn’t remember you? Well, I’m here to tell you, it’s a horrible feeling. Imagine having them torn away from you and despite all of your attempts to get them back…you can’t? Ever wonder if lives can be changed in the blink of an eye? Can one little decision ruin a life? Do you ever wonder if someone had been elsewhere at a given time…everything could change?

 I jogged down the street. My Adias tennis shoes moved across the ground swiftly. The wind flowed through my hair, I shivered as I felt the cool air  rush past my neck. My Ipod blared Justin Bieber in my eyes. I smiled. “Selena!” I heard someone yell from behind me. I spun around, my shoulder-length curly black hair bouncing as I did so. Nicholas Jonas ran towards me. “Hey, Nick!” I called. He stopped in front of me, catching his breath. He shook his head, a couple droplets of sweat being torn from his brown curls. I laughed, “Run a marathon?” Nick looked up at me, I didn’t have to look at his mouth to know he was smiling. I could see it in his chocolate brown eyes. He smirked, “I’ve been chasing after you for the past five blocks. Geez, took you long enough to realize I was there!” I rolled my eyes, “You could have yelled my name sooner. Then you might not have been having a heart attack right now.” I smiled and hugged my boyfriend. He smiled and held me close. “Today’s our two year anniversary.” I said proudly. He looked at me then at the ground, “Oh…” My eyebrows knitted together, “Why are you saying ‘Oh…’ like that?” He looked at me, “Selena I won’t be here to celebrate tonight…” My heart dropped, I had been planning a dinner in celebration of this for months! “Why not?” I asked, making sure the disappointment showed in my voice. He sighed, “My Grandma is having her birthday tonight. Me being the only surviving member of my close family I plan on going. I have to, I mean she’ll have my great aunts and uncles, plus some friends from Bingo. But I’m going since my mom was her only child.” I looked down, “Okay.” That’s fine. He looked at me and smiled. “You could come with me…if you want.” I looked up my eyes sparkling, “Really?” He nodded, “Yeah. Of course! My grandmother loves you!” I smiled and walked off hand in hand with him.

 Perfect ending to this story huh? Walking off into the sunset, holding hands with the one I love. It could end right here, correct? Guess again. If it were to end here it would be sooo incomplete despite how I felt at this moment! I thought things could go on like this forever, I was wrong. Remember what I said about people being at a different place at one given moment and how it could change everything. I wonder if our lives could’ve been changed if I hadn’t been in the car with him. Because I am the one who talked him into stopping.

I love how delicate kittens are. They are soooo sweet!
